    The USB Powered HDMI Voltage Inserter is the ideal solution for a HDMI source device (cable box, DVD player, video game system) that does not provide enough power through the HDMI output for use with HDMI extensions, switches, splitters or other HDMI devices that rely on power from the HDMI output port of the source. Not using a voltage inserter in this application will cause a voltage drop and the video quality is affected, or worse, there is no video at all. This voltage inserter isolates the power from the source device and it provides 5 volts and 1 amp of dedicated power to give the crisp, clean signal that is expected from high definition equipment.
